MONTGOMERY, AL (EETV) - Governor Robert Bentley has been booked into the montgomery County Jail. We expect him to resign later today.
He is charged with failure to file CAMP and Failure to disclose ECO. He is also charged with converting campaign funds illegally for personal use. His bond is set at $600. Bentley admitted his guilt to a judge this afternoon, saying "Yes, sir" when asked if he was guilty.
The Governor is expected to resign this afternoon. Lieutenant Governor Kay Ivey is expected to be sworn in around 6:00 this evening
