Auburn, Ala. (EETV) - As Hurricane Irma sets its eye on the Southeast, Auburn University is preparing for any situation that may impact the campus. Below is the safety advisory:
Hurricane Irma is approaching the southern part of Florida. Although its trajectory is regularly changing, it may impact the state.
We are constantly monitoring the storm and will keep you informed if there’s a threat to our area. We will also communicate what it means for you and campus operations.
In the meantime, we encourage you to routinely monitor developments online, in the news and prepare for how you will respond if there is a need to close campus.
Finally, we encourage you to monitor @AuburnSafety for periodic updates and general safety information. In the event university operations are changed or there is an immediate threat to campus, we will share that information via AU ALERT.
