AUBURN, Ala. (EETV) - Brittany Cannon Dement, a Southern Union State Community College instructor, is one of six candidates for Auburn mayor.
Cannon Dement graduated from Auburn and worked in the Alabama Legislative Fiscal Office at the State House as a fiscal analyst where she analyzed and wrote state legislation. She studied in Italy in her undergraduate and interned with the Alabama Bureau of Investigation.
Cannon Dement's platform focuses on public trust, economic development, and improving public services.
The Auburn mayoral election is August 28.
