UPDATE: Severe Thunderstorm warning issued for Lee County
UPDATE: Tornado watch for Lee County has been extended until 1:00 a.m.
AUBURN, AL (EETV)- The National Weather Service issued a tornado watch for Lee County and 32 other Alabama counties at 1:50pm today, Wednesday April 5th, lasting until 9 pm.
Those in affected regions are advised to prepare to act quickly if a warning is issued by both monitoring the weather and having a plan of where to seek shelter.
In Auburn University, students are advised to locate the severe weather shelter in their specific residence hall. Off campus students are able to seek shelter in Draughon Library and Greene Hall.
