AUBURN, AL (EETV) - On Friday, April 7, 2017 the Auburn Police Division arrested Christopher Grenada Durry, age 31 from Montgomery on felony warrants charging him with Burglary 3rd degree and Theft of Property 3rd degree.
The arrest stems from an investigation into a burglary that occurred on September 29, 2016 at a residence in the 400 block of N.AUBURN, AL (EETV) - On Friday, April 7, 2017 the Auburn Police Division arrested Christopher Grenada Durry, age 31 from Montgomery on felony warrants charging him with Burglary 3rd degree and Theft of Property 3rd degree.
The arrest stems from an investigation into a burglary that occurred on September 29, 2016 at a residence in the 400 block of N. Ross Street. According to the victim, someone entered their residence while they were away and stole jewelry, clothing and U.S. currency valued at over $500.
Further investigation into the incident resulted in Durry being developed as a suspect; arrest warrants were obtained after being identified as the individual responsible for illegally entering the residence. Durry was taken into custody by Auburn Police Friday morning after being released from the Montgomery County Detention Facility, where he had been in custody on unrelated charges.
Durry was transported to the Lee County Jail where he is being held on a $4,500 bond.
