Auburn, Ala. (EETV) - Eagle Eye TV has confirmed that Samantha Moore has been named Auburn SGA's Chief of Staff.
Moore is a Junior Public Relations major and is excited for her new position with SGA, "I am so excited for the opportunity to serve as chief of staff this year. I'm grateful to continue serving SGA and the student body with this role, and I am looking forward to working with this team."
SGA President, Jacqueline Keck, tells EETV "Our team is excited to have Sam Moore as our new Chief of Staff, and we are confident in her ability to fulfill this position well."
The position came open last week after former Chief of Staff Jacob Tofani resigned.
Following that resignation Keck told EETV, ""In resigning, Jacob did what was best for him personally and for SGA as a whole. Although it is a loss and we will miss him being Chief of Staff, he will be able to find balanced and better focus on ROTC and his other commitments. I always strive to put people above projects, in this case position, so I fully support Jacob's decision and am thankful for all the he has contributed to our team over the past three months."
