On Tuesday, May 2, 2017 the Auburn Police Division arrested Wilmer Adailt Lemus Villafuerte, age 19 from Loachapoka on a warrant charging him with Rape 2nd Degree.
At about 10:00 p.m. Auburn Police responded to a suspicious incident call at a residence in the 800 block of Lee Road 394. Villafuerte, an acquaintance of the 15 year old victim was discovered at the residence by her parents at which point he fled. Further investigation determined that Villafuerte had been sexually involved with the 15 year old victim on prior occasions.
Officers located Villafuerte nearby and detained him; Detectives obtained an arrest warrant charging him with rape second degree. Villafuerte was transported to the Lee County Jail, where he remains in custody on a $10,000 bond.
The investigation is ongoing, and additional charges are anticipated.
