Auburn, Ala. (WTVM) - On Tuesday, July11, 2017 the Auburn Police Division arrested Luke M. Adams, 22 and Madison P. Ebben, 21 both from Auburn. The two were arrested on felony and misdemeanor warrants for three counts of Unlawful Breaking and Entering a Vehicle, three counts of Theft of Property Second Degree, two counts of Theft of Property Third Degree, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Additionally, Adams was arrested on a felony warrant for Fraudulent Use of a Credit/Debit Card.
The arrests are a result of several reports received between June 28 and July 5, 2017, where unlocked vehicles were entered and property was taken. The incidents occurred at various locations in Auburn including apartment complexes on W Glenn Av and S College St as well as a public building located in the 200 Block of Mell St. Several credit cards were stolen and fraudulently used at various locations in Auburn and Opelika. Further investigation led to Adams and Ebben being identified as suspects. A search of their residence and vehicle resulted in numerous items of property being recovered.
Warrants were obtained for Adams and Ebben, and they were arrested at the Auburn Police Division. They were transported to the Lee County Jail. Adams will be eligible for a $23,500 bond. Ebben will be eligible for a $22,000 bond. Additional charges are pending.
