Auburn, Ala. (EETV) - A feature on the new City of Auburn website is designed to help find available parking spaces downtown.
The city says the goal of the new site is to "make it easier to connect, reach out and learn about all the City of Auburn offers."

The city is in the process of implementing a comprehensive plan to combat the parking problem in downtown. The plan includes adding valet parking to the Gay Street Deck and working with downtown businesses with large parking lots to add additional public spaces.The plan also includes the addition of a 200-300 space deck in downtown, the location planned for the land currently occupied by the Baptist Student Union. The Alabama State Board of Missions must approve the deal before the deal moves forward
