Auburn, Ala. (EETV) - Backup quarterback Sean White was arrested early Sunday morning for public intoxication.
White, 21, was arrested by Auburn Police and was admitted to the Lee County jail at 3:28 a.m.
He is being held on $500 bond according to the Lee County Detention records.
According to the records, his court date is set for Nov. 30, 2018.
White won the starting quarterback job for the 2016 season and led the Tigers to an 8-5 record before breaking his arm in the Sugar Bowl against Oklahoma.
He was limited in spring practices while recovering from surgery on his broken arm, allowing Stidham to get most of the reps. Stidham would win the starting job in August before the season would begin.
White just came off a 2 game suspension for violating game rules this week and was available to play against Mercer.
