Auburn, AL (EETV) – Sophomore Elena Hualde finished in the top-10 individually at the Mason Rudolph Championship over the weekend.
The Tigers shot an even-par of 288 on Sunday’s finish to place seventh with a 54-hole score of 857, which was seven under.
Hualde also shot the lowest score in her collegiate career. She shot for a total of 209 (-7) that got her seventh place. This was her fourth top-10 finish and her second straight top-10 at the Mason Rudolph.
Other notable Tiger finishes include senior Michaela Owen who tied for 14th place finishing 5 under par.
Murphy claimed the low round on the day, shooting 2-under and moving up to tie for 49th place. She shot three birdies on the final six holes to finish 2-under.
Arkansas won the tournament with a score of 823 (-41), which tied a NCAA record.
Auburn travels to West Point, MS for the Magnolia Invitational Oct. 1-3.
