AUBURN, Ala. (EETV) - The transit driver arrested for an alleged rape a couple of weeks ago could be tested for sexually transmitted diseases.
An order was issued by a judge on September 22, giving the Patillo until October 6 to respond to the motion. If Patillo does not respond, the motion will be granted and testing will occur. If Patillo does respond to the motion, there is a possibility of a hearing on the matter.
According to the Lee County District Attorney's office, "a timetable for testing and receiving results" won't be known until the motion is granted.
This is a developing story, check back for more details as they become available.
