San Antonio, Texas (EETV) -The Auburn women's golf finished the first round Sunday of the Mary S. Kauth Invitational in 11th place.
The Tigers shot a 301 (+13) in the opening round. Arkansas is leading the field with a 281 (-7).
Individually, Auburn had one player in the top 20 through the first round, Senior Kelli Murphy. Murphy had a 1-over-par 73, which included two birdies and three bogeys.
Freshman Mychael O'Berry is the second Tiger leading in the individual standings at No. 29 with a 75 (+3). She is also making her collegiate debut.
