AUBURN, Ala. (EETV) - USA Netflix users will want to keep reading. The video streaming platform is changing up their show’s availability come October and they might be deleting something right out of your queue.
Netflix is constantly switching up their show availability but the upcoming change is deleting some fan favorites. “30 Rock”, “Friday Night Lights”, “How I Met Your Mother” and “One Tree Hill” are just a few of the popular shows to exit the site. These changes are strictly business, Netflix says in an article from Vulture.com stating, “ The license for a TV series or movie is for a set period of time, which means every title eventually comes up for renewal. At that point we take a variety of factors into account to determine if we will renew the title. As we expand our content portfolio, our goal is to continue offering great movies and TV series for our members, while also providing content that is available exclusively on Netflix.”
Additionally, the growing popularity of Netflix’s own programming has led to many outside programs to be cut.
