Auburn, Ala. (EETV) – Junior Ryan Knop finished runner-up at the F&M Bank APSU Intercollegiate for the Auburn Tigers. He carded an even-par 72 on Tuesday at the Greystone Golf Club, finishing the tournament at 5-under for a score of 211.
Knop finished just one stroke behind Austin Knight of Murray State.
After carding nine birdied on the first two rounds, Knop finished with three more on Tuesday to bring his tournament total to 12.
Three other Tigers competed as individuals in the event hosted by Austin Peay State University. Freshman Andrew Kozan posted his first career top-five finish with a score of 214. With four birdies on the final round, he tied for fourth at 2-under.
Junior Graysen Huff finished tied for 13th with a final score of 219. Sophomore Reagan Harrell finished 18th at 5-over for a final score of 221.
Only individuals played, so Auburn did not compete in the event as a team.
The Tigers play their final tournament of the fall schedule at the Tavistock Invitational on Oct. 22-24 in Windermere, Fla.
