Auburn, Ala. (EETV) - Softball held their first successful fall scrimmage Saturday night.
Teams were divided by colors of jerseys (Team Blue and Team Orange). Team Blue came out on top 7-1.
With a total of eight strikeouts, all five pitchers proved their strength.
The teams combined had a total of 12 hits. KK Crocker and Taylon Snow both had two hits each. Alyssa Rivera also contributed to the success with a home run.
“I thought our pitchers did a good job commanding their pitches and commanding the count. All of the pitchers are really working hard," head coach Mickey Dean said to Auburn Athletics. “It just shows you this game is very contagious."
The team will continue to practice this week until they take on Enterprise State CC and Northwest Florida State CC this Friday (Oct. 13).
The doubleheader is set to begin at 3 p.m. CT at the Jane B. Moore Field.
