San Antonio, Texas. (EETV) – Women’s golf completed their first round of Maryb S. Kauth Invitational Sunday at Briggs Ranch Golf Club.
Senior Kelli Murphy, is tied for 16th place, led the way for the Tigers with a 1-over-par 73.
Auburn’s other counting scores were 76 (+4) from Freshman Kaleigh Telfer and a 77 (+5) from senior Michaela Owen.
In her debut, freshman Mychael O’Berry had the next-best round for Auburn with a 75 (+3) and is tied for 29th place after 18 holes.
As a team, the Tigers shot 301 (+13) in Sunday’s opening round and is currently in 11th place.
Round two beings at 8:30 a.m. Monday, Oct. 23. Auburn will be paired with North Texas and Texas State on the 10th tee.
