AUBURN, Ala (EETV)- Auburn police are investigating a gunshot that occurred early Tuesday at an apartment complex located in the 800 block of North Gay Street.
According to police division spokesman Lorenza Dorsey, officers responded to the shot fired call and that their preliminary investigation indicates that a single gunshot was fired from an upstairs apartment into floor below.
Dorsey states that the incident steamed from a verbal altercation in the upstairs apartment and that three males were seen leaving the seen of the upstairs apartment before officers arrived.
Nobody was injured, but the apartment received minor damage from the gunshot. Police are still investigating and anyone with information is encouraged to contact the Auburn Police Division at 334-501-3140 or 334-246-1391.
