Auburn, Ala. (EETV) - Kerryon Johnson, Daniel Carlson, and Braden Smith were all awarded individual awards voted by the SEC coaches.
Johnson was named SEC Offensive Player of the Year. The junior running back led the conference with 1,320 rushing yards and 19 touchdowns.
His 15 rushing touchdowns in SEC games are tied with Cam Newton's record at Auburn. Johnson is the fourth player from Auburn to win this award.
Carlson was chosen as the SEC Special Teams Player for the second year in a row. The senior leads the SEC with 117 points. He became the conference's all-time leading scorer earlier in the season, and his 471 career points put him at number five all-time nationally.
Smith was awarded the Jacob's Blocking Trophy, given to the best blocker in the conference. The senior offensive lineman started all 13 games at right guard this season. He earned a grade of 88.7 from Pro Football Focus which puts him at second best among offensive lineman in the SEC.
