AUBURN, Ala. (EETV) - The sixth annual Polar Plunge hosted by the Auburn Parks and Recreation department Saturday morning went off with a splash.
The event is the largest fundraiser for the Lee County Special Olympics. Money goes toward uniforms, travel expenses and equipment.
Participants decked out in costume braved the 36 degree water for a jump and a quick swim across the pool.
Aubie made a special appearance and made his very first polar plunge.
