AUBURN, Ala. (EETV)- Alpha Psi Rodeo has been a unique tradition in Auburn for over 50 years, bringing in students from all over the South to what Alpha Psi calls, “the biggest party in the SEC”. This year, Rodeo is returning to the plains on April 21 with a lot in store.
The gates for Rodeo will open at 8 a.m. and students will be able to tailgate with their own coolers. If students do not want to drive, Alpha Psi is offering a shuttle from campus to the event throughout the day. The day will be filled with bull riding, cattle roping and other rodeo events beginning at noon. As in years past, there will be several food vendors at the event.
Country signer, Riley Green, is set to take the stage at sunset, followed by country star headliner, Cole Swindell. Since announcing the acts on their social media sites Wednesday, Jan. 17, Alpha Psi has conducted several ticket giveaways as well as meet and greets with the artists.
This year, Alpha Psi has partnered up with Old Row to elevate the Rodeo experience as much as possible. “We’re really excited to continue growing and expanding on a tradition that is special to Auburn,” said Alpha Psi member, Robert Lindsay. “It is rare for an event to survive over 50 years like Rodeo has.”
Tickets are on sale now, starting at $45, and are available at Anders Bookstore and at their website, alphapsirodeo.com. Be sure to follow their social media for promo codes, giveaways and all other Rodeo updates.
