Auburn, Ala.(EETV)- Brianna Thomas is focusing on students submitting feedback. Thomas, a Junior from Jackson, Al, currently majoring in Political Science, says that student feedback is key in order to know if the Student Government Association (SGA) is fixing the students concerns.
"[I am] focusing and pushing on getting students to submit feedback whether that be through Auburn Answers or Weekly Concourse Hours to SGA so that we can make sure that we are working on projects that students really want us to work on."
Thomas is heavily involved at Auburn University. She has worked as a Jordan Hare Stadium Ambassador, Athletic Recruiter, Black Student Union, SGA Lobby Board and Assistant Director of Miss University Scholarship Program. She is currently serving as the Executive Vice President on Outreach as SGA Executive Board. Thomas is currently a member of a Nationally Historic Black Sorority.
"Since being apart of the Executive Board for the SGA, I've seen and now know the steps and keys to success for how to get projects to come to fruition."
Her campaign focuses on improving the day to day experiences of Auburn students. That being the continuation and expansion of parking, printing, and dining.
"[I am] working on a continuation and expansion of some of the things that I have worked on the Executive Board this year"
“This campaign isn’t about me, it’s about what Auburn SGA can do to improve the lives of each and every single Auburn student.”
Thomas believes that what sets her apart from the rest of the presidential candidates is her love and passion for Auburn and the students.
"Being my genuine, true and authentic self is something that is going to set me apart from the other candidates, this is something that I'm doing with my heart set out on really helping Auburn students."
