AUBURN, Ala. (EETV)- Auburn University’s Campus Safety and Security Office will be hosting campus safety training sessions from 5:30 pm-7:00 pmTuesday and Thursday next week.
According to the office, the sessions will focus on educating students about different safety devices available on campus as well as teaching students how to deal with a possible campus active shooter situation.
These training sessions come days after a gunman killed over a dozen people at a local school in Parkland, Florida.
Auburn Safety and Security officials encourage all students to come to these free training events.
If you have questions about the event, you are encouraged to email Campus Safety and Security at campussafety@auburn.edu.
