Auburn, Ala. (EETV) - The Tigers make their first top-10 appearance at No. 8 in this week's AP Poll after defeating Ole Miss and Vanderbilt.
The Tigers moved from No. 11 after their 79-70 win on the road at Oxford followed by their 12th straight home win 93-81 over Vanderbilt Saturday.
Auburn is still the highest ranked SEC team in the nation. No. 15 Tennessee and No. 24 Kentucky round out conference teams in the top 25.
With their wins over Ole Miss and Vanderbilt, Auburn (9-1) continues to hold the top spot in the SEC. Tennessee (7-3) and Florida (6-4) round out the top-3 in the SEC.
This week, Auburn is, once again, set to play two conference games. First, the Tigers will welcome Texas A&M Wednesday. They will then travel to Athens, Georgia for a rematch with UGA Saturday.
Tip-off against Texas A&M (Feb. 7) will be 8 p.m. The game will be broadcast on ESPN 2. Auburn will tip-off Saturday (Feb. 10) against UGA at 2:30 p.m.
Auburn's road game will be broadcast on the SEC Network. Admission is free for all homes games for students with a valid Ignited Card.
