AUBURN, Ala. (EETV)- New Auburn University Student Government Association President Dane Block and past SGA President Jacqueline Keck discussed their administrations, priorities and leadership thoughts in an exclusive interview with Eagle Eye TV.
"I want it to be a memory of the way we treated people and a legacy that was left by a high standard of work ethic, but also moral character," said Keck.
Keck also discussed how changes to campus dining and the implementation of recommendations made by SGA's dining task force into the new campus dining contract.
"I have to say that the dining contract was my favorite," mentioned Keck.
Block discussed some the specific details about his plan to increase campus safety, something that he discussed during the campaign.
"When I came to the table with campus safety it was a major concern," said Block, "so I think it's very important to address the desire to find a solution."
Block and Keck also talked about the role their faith plays in their leadership on Auburn's campus.
"It's something that fires me up every single day," said Block, "just the thought of emptying myself out."
"The Lord really has a heart of service," mentioned Keck, "and to fulfill this role I think you have to have that heart as well."
