AUBURN, AL (EETV) - One man is dead following an overnight shooting in Auburn. At approximately 10:18 pm Thursday night, the Auburn Police Division responded to a report of shots being fired in the 900 block of Old Mill Rd. Officers responding to the area located a deceased 30-year old male.
The investigation is being treated as a homicide. At this time the incident does not appear to be random, and those involved are believed to be known to each other.
The case remains under investigation by the Auburn Police Division, the Lee County Coroner's Office, and the Alabama Department of Forensic Science- Medical Examiner's Office.
