LEE COUNTY, Ala. (EETV)-- A single-vehicle crash at 7:05 p.m. Sunday, February 25, has claimed the life of an Opelika man. Paul Thomas Lott was killed when the 2015 Harley-Davidson he was operating left the roadway and struck a tree.
Lott was pronounced dead at the scene. The crash was not discovered by officials until February 26.
The collision occurred on Lee Road 136 near the 2000 block, approximately seven miles south of Opelika. Alabama State Troopers are continuing to investigate the crash.
