AUBURN, Ala. (EETV)- The Friends of the Auburn Public Library will host the Big Book Sale on Saturday, April 7, from 9 a.m.-5 p.m.; Sunday, April 8, from 2 p.m.-6 p.m.; and Monday, April 9, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The sale will take place at the Auburn Public Library, located at 749 E. Thach Ave.
On Saturday, hardbacks will sell for $2, and paperbacks will sell for $1. On Sunday, hardbacks will sell for $1, and paperbacks will sell for 50 cents. On Monday, customers will have the option to purchase and fill a tote bag for $5 or to purchase individual books at Sunday’s prices.
The sale is open to the public, and thousands of gently used books will be available for purchase, including bestsellers, classics, fiction, nonfiction and children’s books. Quality books will be available throughout all three days of the sale, although shoppers are encouraged to arrive early for the best selection.
All proceeds from the Big Book Sale benefit the Auburn Public Library, including the Summer Learning Challenge and our classes, programs and workshops throughout the year.
