AUBURN, AL (EETV)- Keep Opelika Beautiful will be hosting a free Recycle and Shred Day event in partnership with River Mills Shredding Service this Saturday.
The Recycle and Shred day will be from 8 to 11 a.m. at Jeter Recycle Center. The Jeter Recycle Center is across from Opelika's Jeter Primary School.
All shredding for the event will be done there, and all paper materials must be out of binders or folders, paper clips and staples can be left on the paper. There is a limit of 10 boxes for shredding.
On a daily basis Jeter Recycle Center accepts electronics, aluminum and steel cans, newspaper, plastic, cooking oil, cardboard, appliances, glass (brown, clear and green), scrap iron, tires and yard debris.
