AUBURN, Ala. (EETV)- The Student Alumni Association has opened applications to join their Board of Directors for the next school year.
The SAA Board of Directors' focus is on forming connections with alumni and helping students transition into being successful, engaged alumni.
The Board is composed of six committees that focus around planning events, networking with alumni, raising scholarship funds and building a larger sense of Auburn University in preparation for graduation.
Some duties include helping support the SAA with events such as the Auburn Hospitality Tailgate for home football games, Golden Eagles, Lifetime Achievement Awards and more.
These events help students have the opportunities to interact with alumni. Members also receive discounts from various shops and restaurants around Auburn.
Applications are available on AUinvolve until April 6.
