AUBURN, Ala. (EETV)- Auburn Parks and Recreation and Evans Realty will come together to host the 26th Annual Fishing Rodeo on Saturday, May 19, from 7 – 11 a.m. at the lake at Auburn Technology Park South. Please be aware that this year’s event is starting an hour earlier than in the past!
The entry fee is $5 per child and can be paid in the form of cash or check at the door. Checks can be made payable to COA.
The first 150 children to arrive will receive a FREE rod and reel courtesy of Evans Realty. Auburn Parks and Recreation will supply the bait.
Be sure to enter the drawing for a variety of door prizes. In addition, the biggest fish caught in each age category and whoever catches the most fish overall will receive a trophy and a prize.
This event is a great chance to bring kids and their parents together with America's favorite pastime. There is a take home limit of five fish per child and parents must stay with their child at all times.
