AUBURN, Ala. (EETV)- Recent meetings by North Korean leader Kim Jong-un and South Korean President Moon Jae In have caused many in the international community to think that changes could be coming to the relationship between North and South Korea.
Auburn University Distinguished Visiting Professor and Diplomat in Residence Douglas Coutts says that the recent meetings between Kim and Moon are “extraordinary.”
Coutts worked several years with the United Nations, including in North Korea, where he was the UN’s first humanitarian coordinator during a portion of the 1990s.
Eagle Eye TV sat down with Coutts to get his opinion on the ongoing dialogs.
