Birmingham, Ala. -- SEC's inaugural SEC Football Kickoff Summerfest, presented by Regions Bank, is set to be held on Sunday, July 15, in Atlanta’s Centennial Olympic Park.
The event will be broadcasted live by SEC nation, SEC Network's traveling road show. The event will take place from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. ET, with the show being live from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
The first ever SEC Summerfest is the first free fan event and his being held in conjunction with SEC's annual football media days. The first stop of the SEC's annual football media days will be in Atlanta, at the College Football Hall of Fame and Omni Atlanta Hotel at CNN Center.
The event is free and open to the public, allowing guests to interact with fanbases from all SEC schools. The event will provide the fans with a "family-friendly game day environment." In addition to the live SEC nation broadcast, there will be live music, food trucks and more.
The SEC nation broadcast will feature SEC Network's host Laura Rutledge, reporter Lauren Sisler and analysts Paul Finebaum and Marcus Spears.
The College Football Hall of Fame will be open during the celebration until 5 p.m. Tickets into the Hall of Fame can be bought online or at the door.
SEC Football Kickoff Media Days presented by Regions Bank is set to be held from Monday, July 16, until Thursday, July 19 at the same location. Coaches and players from every SEC school will be present for the annual kickoff celebration of the 2018 football season.
