AUBURN, Ala. (EETV)- Multiple injuries are reported following a major wreck on Auburn's Shug Jordan Parkway between the intersections of Wire Road and South College Street.
Motorists on the scene say that the road is currently blocked in both directions.
UPDATE (4:01 PM):
According to Auburn Police Division spokesperson Lorenza Dorsey a Ford Transit van collided head on with a Honda Odyssey van. A third vehicle, Chevrolet Tahoe also collided with the Honda van.
The male driver of the Ford van was life flighted to a local hospital for serious injuries. The female driver of the Honda van will be transported by ambulance to EAMC for serious injuries.
The driver of the Chevrolet Tahoe sustained minor injuries and was not transported. That section of Shug Jordan Parkway remains blocked while the accident is being cleared up.
The accident remains under investigation by APD.
UPDATE (4:51 PM):
APD says that the roadway is now open.
