AUBURN, Ala. (EETV)- Auburn Police have identified the victim of the early morning shooting on W. Magnolia Avenue as Evan Mikale Wilson.
Police say that Wilson, a 20 year old resident of Tuskegee, was pronounced dead on the scene by Lee County Chief Deputy Coroner Gene Manning.
Wilson's body will be sent the Alabama Department of Forensic Sciences State Medical Examiner's office in Montgomery for an examination.
Police are investigating the death as a homicide and believe that the shooting was the result of an altercation near the roadway in the 200 block of W. Magnolia Avenue.
