Alabama Gov. Kay Ivey declared a state of emergency ahead of the storm stating: "Alabama is once again in the path of a hurricane, but I know Alabamians will once again come together and be prepared for whatever Michael may bring. On the state level we are prepared, now is the time for residents in south Alabama to review your emergency preparedness plans and also get prepared."
Eagle Eye TV will continue to monitor conditions in the days ahead.
If traveling for Fall Break, please monitor the forecast closely and adjust travel plans accordingly. It may be safest to delay travel until the storm has passed. Students can also contact professors directly about their specific situations. 2/2
