Auburn, Ala. (EETV) - In a statement released by the university, Auburn’s School of Forestry and Wildlife Sciences launched an online graduate certificate in the areas of forestry finance and investments.
The program is designed to help working professionals gain knowledge of the ever-changing area of forestry to assist in operational decision-making.
“The certificate program will improve students’ decision making skills associated with forest management and planning, operations and investments,” said Frank Walburn, Regions Bank senior vice president of natural resources and real estate.
Students in the program will have the chance to showcase their experience through an electronic portfolio. Students must completely 15 hours of online work in order to earn the certificate.
“The graduate certificate programs provide opportunities for our alumni and others to conveniently expand their skill set through online study, ensuring they remain accessible to their employers and families,” said School of Forestry and Wildlife Sciences Dean Janaki Alavalapati.
