AUBURN, Ala, (EETV) - The first Christmas Market kicked off in downtown Opelika, Alabama, with its VIP Preview Party on Thursday, Nov. 29, welcoming over 50 original designers and vendors.
The Christmas Market offers shoppers food and the option to purchase wine while browsing the holiday market.
The event continues Friday and Saturday for the general public. General shopping begins at 9 a.m. until 6 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 30.
Beginning at 6:00 p.m. until 9 p.m., shoppers can enjoy a “Girls Night Out.”
On Saturday, Dec. 1, doors to the Christmas Market open at 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. for general shoppers.
Beginning at 9 a.m. until 1 p.m., Santa will make an appearance for “Cookies with Santa.” The event is held at The Bottling Plant & Event Center in Downtown Opelika.
General admission is $10. Tickets can be purchased in advance online through the Facebook Christmas Market event page.
Complimentary parking is available.
