AUBURN, Ala. (EETV)- The City of Auburn has reopened the sidewalk in front of the West and Wright, formerly known as the Evolve, apartment complex.
The sidewalk was closed briefly as construction workers installed pedestrian protection covers over the sidewalk.
Sidewalk protection was installed after the city was made aware of issues with loose bricks on the exterior of the building's West Glenn Avenue side.
The West and Wright building has been at the center of the contentious debate regarding building high ordinances in the downtown area.
