Atlanta, Georgia (EETV)- The arrival of the Super Bowl brings three former Tigers together in Sunday's big game. Rams cornerback Blake Countess, Patriots cornerback Jonathan Jones, and linebacker Brandon King all spoke to the media on Monday night in Atlanta.
Blake Countess who played at Auburn in 2015 spoke on his memories of Auburn saying, " Being back in Atlanta reminds me of my recruiting trip to Auburn, because I didn't know that you had to fly into Atlanta to get there. I remember driving down with my mom and Coach Muschamp. And then for guys like Jonathan Jones, who was a senior at the time, really welcomed me in and that was special."
Brandon King, who graduated in 2014, said " Being in this game in this game is different, the players around me are different, everything we have to go through is different, but just enjoying being back closer to Auburn."
Jonathan Jones, a four year starter from 2011-2015, talked about how much Auburn meant to him. Jones said, "Auburn was great just being there and experiencing it was great for me just to get to the NFL. I loved it, War Eagle."
The Super Bowl will take place on Sunday as the Countess and the Rams look to win their first Super Bowl since the Rams moved to Los Angelos. King and Jones will be looking for their second Super Bowl.
