AUBURN, Ala. -- The Women's Center at Auburn University has announced that they have extended the deadline for their Women of Distinction Awards to February 11.
This award is given to women on Auburn's campus who demonstrate exemplary leadership abilities. The Women's Center at Auburn University puts on this award ceremony each year in partnership with the Office of Inclusion and Diversity.
The award categories include an undergraduate student award, a graduate student award, professional and administrative staff award, faculty award and an alumna award.
The nominees are judged based on the following criteria:
- Demonstrated leadership skills
- Acting as a Role Model who inspires others
- Distinctive achievements
- Ongoing commitment to personal and professional growth
The recipients of these awards will receive recognition at the annual Women's Leadership Conference -- a one day conference in the Auburn Student Center Ballroom on April 15.
