Auburn, AL (EETV)- Auburn's freshman diver Conner Pruitt has developed a strong bond with Auburn program.
Growing up in nearby Opelika, Alabama, Pruitt competed in high school diving winning four straight state titles in his career.
Conner spent much of his time at the James E. Martin Aquatics Center competing in those state competitions. Through that he eventually meet his future coach Jeff Shaffer.
Conner spoke about his move to Auburn saying, " There were a lot of things that led to Auburn, home pool advantage is nice since I've been here for so long. It's just a home feel."
Pruitt has competed very well for the Tigers this season including a first place finish on the platform at the Georgia Diving Invitational.

Auburn Swimming and Diving are at the SEC Championships this week and will travel to Austin, Texas for the NCAA Championships from March 27-30th.
