AUBURN, Ala. -- Laura Davenport's platform is centered around the line of the Auburn creed, "I believe in honesty and truthfulness without which I cannot win the respect and confidence of my fellow men.”
"When it came to deciding on a line from the Creed for my platform, I found myself constantly reflecting on the people I’ve met during my time at Auburn University," said Davenport in her platform.
As a student at Auburn, Davenport has been able to serve the university as a Camp War Eagle counselor, a campus kitchen volunteer, a Lambda Sigma Junior Advisor and has held leadership positions in her sorority.
"I hope my platform encourages all students to be honest about how they interact with people who are different than they are, and calls them to a love that doesn’t see color or status," described Davenport in her platform.
