AUBURN, Ala. (EETV)-- No. 12 Auburn is heading to Starkville to take on the No. 4 Mississippi State Bulldogs this weekend.
Following a series sweep of Tennessee last weekend, the Tigers are playing their best baseball. This couldn't come at a better time, considering they are going up against a team in Mississippi State that leads the SEC in total wins with 20.
Auburn is also riding the momentum of their current 14-game winning streak, which is tied for the longest streak in the nation and is tied for the fifth-longest winning streak in program history. The Tigers will have to find a way to slow down the Bulldogs' success at bat, as they have scored 10 or more runs in eight of their 22 games this season.
The series is set to start tonight at 6 p.m. CT. Game 2 is set for Saturday at 2 p.m. and the series will conclude Sunday afternoon at 1 p.m.
