AUBURN, Ala. (EETV) - Auburn Police released the names of police officers shot during the gunfire that broke out following a domestic disturbance late Sunday night and early Monday morning.
Officer William Buechner was killed in the gunfire. He had been serving with the department since April 2006.

Officer Webb Sistrunk was injured in the shooting. He was transported to Piedmont Regional Medical Center in Columbus, where he remains.

Officer Evan Elliott was injured in the shooting. He was transported to East Alabama Medical Center and has since been released.
