AUBURN, Ala. - Tichenor Avenue will be closed on Thursday, May 16 for the Downtown Family Supper held by the Downtown Merchants Association.
Beginning at noon, there will be a closure from the loading dock entrance behind The Hound to the edge of the City of Auburn Human Resources building. On-street parking will also not be available on the road.
At 4 p.m., the rest of the road will close, including the City Hall parking lot, access to Tichenor Avenue from the Municipal Parking Deck and the Tichenor Avenue Parking Lot.
During these closures, the Auburn First Baptist Child Development Center can be accessed through the parking lot on Gay Street.
Tichenor Avenue will reopen around 10 p.m. after the event and cleanup are completed.
Valet parking services will be available to downtown visitors rom 11 a.m.-3 p.m. and 5-10 p.m. Vehicles can be dropped off with an attendant at the valet parking stand near the southeast corner of the Municipal Parking Deck.
