AUBURN, Ala. (EETV) - Auburn University's Center for Cyber and Homeland Security, or CCHS, is partnering with the Center for Internet Security and the Embassy of Estonia to host a forum on Thursday, Sept. 26 in Washington, D.C.
International experts will speak at the forum, titled "Securing Elections - Global Lessons Learned", to discuss the risks and vulnerabilities of elections, as well as what needs to be done to secure them. Brian de Vallance, senior fellow at Auburn's CCHS, will moderate the discussion.
The CCHS operates under Auburn's McCrary Institute for Cyber and Critical Infrastructure Security and focuses on the policy component of the institute's work.
The event will take place from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. EST in the George Washington University City View Room. A full description of speakers can be found on the institute's website. A live stream of the event will be available on YouTube.
