AUBURN, Ala. (EETV) - It's officially Miss Homecoming election week and five senior women are campaigning across campus to promote their platforms.
Marketing major Maggie Hightower is from Birmingham.
She is a member of SGA Cabinet, Omicron Delta Kappa, Mortar Board and Project Uplift. Additionally, she serves as director of the Organization Seating Program.
Her campaign is partnering with the Auburn EAGLES program, to serve students with intellectual disabilities. Through her platform, Hightower aims to create a greater level of collaboration among organizations on Auburn's campus and the EAGLES program. She also has created a scholarship to assist students in the program with costs associated with tuition.
Miss Homecoming elections are on Friday, September 13 from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Students can vote online at aub.ie/sgavote.
