Auburn, AL(EETV)- Auburn soccer came out on the losing end on Sunday night as the 13th-ranked Texas A&M Aggies defeated the Tigers by a final of 1-0.
The game was very defensive to start as neither team could get many chances to shoot for goal. Auburn goalkeeper Kate Hart made four saves on the Aggies 15 shots.
With 20 minutes remaining in the match, the Aggies would score off a corner as Jenna Bryers would head it home for a score. Auburn players and coaches thought it was a foul as goalkeeper Kate Hart was knocked over by an Aggie player.
The lone goal from Bryers would be the difference as the Tigers would dropped their third SEC match of the season. The Tigers are now 3-3 in conference play.
Auburn will return to action on Friday night as they play in Gainesville, Florida against the Florida Gators with kickoff set for 6:00 pm.
