Auburn, AL (EETV)- Auburn men's and women's tennis teams are competing at the ITA regionals this week. The men are hosting the regional while the women traveled to Baton Rouge.
The Tigers had some big results as induviduals on both teams will be playing in finals.
On the women's side, the doubles combo of Taylor Russo and Selin Ovnuc reached the doubles final defeating Ole Miss's Anna Vrbenska and Tereza Janatova 6-1 6-4.
In the other semifinal, the duo of Georgie Axon and Maddie Meredith fell 7-5 7-6 in two hard fought sets.
On the men's side, Tim Dollman has lead the way for the Tigers as he reached singles and doubles final. Dollman won seven singles matches including three qualifying matches.
Dollman and his partner Micheal Durham also reached the doubles final by winning five matches in the main draw.
The finals will begin at 10 A.M for both men's and women's matches. Winners will advance to the ITA Nationals in Newport Beach, California from November 6-10.
